Von Holzhausen are looking for a Graphic Design Manager to work in our Los Angeles office. We are interested in a designer who resonates with our brand mission and had a solid understanding of our brand aesthetic.
Launched in 2015, von Holzhausen is a collection of ethical accessories with a focus on design, sustainability, and quality of life. The line offers a well-edited assortment of essential, easy to wear bags and accessories in timeless palettes for men and women. Award-winning designer, Vicki von Holzhausen, began her career in the automotive industry, working for Audi and Mercedes Benz in Europe. Drawing upon her automotive background, Vicki sought to create a brand combining her technical expertise with an ethical approach to consumerism in order to offer products that add value to the world. The brand offers an innovative 100% animal free Technik-Leather.
We are looking for a FULL-TIME GRAPHIC DESIGNER to work in our Los Angeles office. We are interested in a designer who resonates with our brand mission and had a solid understanding of our brand aesthetic.
As Graphic Designer of von Holzhausen, you will provide graphic design support for all aspects of the brand including our website, emails, direct mail, social media, paid advertising, as well as general content creation. We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs.
Creating visual content for all facets of the brand, including building strategy and direction behind the initiatives
Email marketing creation and deployment
Work with Creative Director to elevate von Holzhausen branding across all media elements, including Instagram, website, and email as well as direct mail communications
Handle day to day functions, schedule, and tasks to ensure internal and external Creative direction team satisfaction
Is responsible for assisting Creative Director on creating on-brand, compelling creative digital experiences
Coordinating with the digital team as it relates to creativity and content creation
Photo retouching and editing
Assisting sales and executive team with branding decks or other brand assets
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
A problem solver and idea generator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Can maintain a productive, supportive environment for the creative team, and provide both creative and technical expertise and leadership
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in graphic design, visual design, art direction, advertising or related field of study preferred
Visual design, art direction background
Proficient with Klaviyo
Proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Mac OS and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Exceptional attention to detail and flexibility in meeting urgent requests
Ability to keep up- to-date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising and related communications industries
