Von Holzhausen are looking for a full time Social Content Manager to work in our Los Angeles office. We are interested in an individual who resonates with our brand mission, has experience with driving social media growth for a digitally native fashion brand, and has a solid understanding of our brand aesthetic. The Social Media Manger oversees the development and implementation of the brand’s social media content and growth strategies across all product categories across all channels.

Launched in 2015, von Holzhausen is a collection of ethical accessories with a focus on design, sustainability, and quality of life. The line offers a well-edited assortment of essential, easy to wear bags and accessories in timeless palettes for men and women. Award-winning designer, Vicki von Holzhausen, began her career in the automotive industry, working for Audi and Mercedes Benz in Europe. Drawing upon her automotive background, Vicki sought to create a brand combining her technical expertise with an ethical approach to consumerism in order to offer products that add value to the world. The brand offers an innovative 100% animal free Technik-Leather.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage social content and campaigns

  • Communicate the brand essence through story telling

  • Create and manage the brand’s social media calendar including overall strategy and daily postings on platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and the blog

  • Develop strong relationships with key influencers and content creators to garner a roster of long-term brand ambassadors and advocates

  • Develop monthly analytics reports to track engagement and growth progress

  • Stay on top of social media trends and news in the industry to ensure the brand is ahead of the curve on all platforms

  • Work cross functionally with marketing, ads and creative teams to grow customer base and develop branded content across all platforms

  • Manage social media budget for influencer strategy

  • Brainstorm and outreach with strategic partners to execute creative social media giveaways, promotions and campaigns

  • Partner with designers to ensure all creative assets are optimized for various platforms

  • Build out new campaigns and growth strategies based on past learnings and analytics

  • Ensure that there is a consistent stream of both engaging evergreen product promotion as well as a focus on new product launches and initiatives throughout the social media distribution schedule

Education and Experience Required:

  • College degree

  • 4-6 years of managing social media content and growth for digitally native fashion brands

  • Experience with social media analytics and scheduling platforms

  • Experience with developing influencer strategies and pre-existing key relationships in the fashion category

  • Managerial experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with managing budgets

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • An eye for aesthetics and digital branding to ensure social content is on brand and consistent

  • Strategic understanding of brand building within the premium fashion market

  • An inquisitive mind - not satisfied with the status quo

  • A self-starter who is proactive and dedicated to getting results

  • Must be detail-oriented and have a knack for the written word

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player
