seeks a Print & Packaging Production Artist

We are LATHER Custom, and we help hotels design and develop personal care products that resonate with the most discerning guests. We are passionate, fun, creative-minded people. Though we work semi-remotely, we collaborate often and enjoy solving our customer’s unique and interesting challenges!

Time Commitment: 20 hours per week, preferably 4 hours per day

Duration: likely 3 months, could be extended

Requirements:

  • Must be knowledgeable of print production process and setting up mechanical files (2+ years experience).

  • Programs used: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, ClickUp and Sharepoint

  • Since this is remote and temporary, use of own computer is required.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong attention to detail and a love for process.

  • Likes organized files and systems but can also remain calm under some moderate pressure.

  • Is swift, yet accurate, with a discerning eye.

Duties:

  • Take existing renders, or master mechanicals, and prepare mechanical art for final output, paying close attention to typography.

  • Make edits to existing mechanicals

  • Save and organize files to our shared space

  • Review and edit supplier proofs, checking for errors.

  • Retouch, resize/color-correct images and provide photo save-outs for web site use.

  • Create and edit product renderings in Photoshop or other 3D programs.

  • Provide general support to the Creative Director and Product Development team.

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Knowledge and experience with beauty packaging is helpful but not required.

  • Knowledge of regulatory packaging requirements within the US.

  • Adobe XD experience and the ability to prep web design files for programming.
