I had been wanting to learn web design for a long time and try out freelancing, I have a background in curation and product management so I already felt comfortable understanding clients needs and creating stories that fit that. I finally decided to take the Squarespace Design Course while working a job where I felt under utilized and frankly bored.

This course has expanded my horizons of what's possible by so much!! I surprised myself by how fast I felt comfortable in figma and how many ideas I had. I found myself dreaming about layouts haha. Consistently putting in time for this class has had me grow my skillset so quickly. Still getting comfortable in Squarespace but my passion for layout design and concept design translate so well.

My favorite part of the course is that it’s fun! I'm someone who if I don't want to do something.... sometimes I don't do it. BUT Puno & team made it so fun to learn and the amount of resources provided aside from the instructions is invaluable. Also being able to see others work in the Discord made me feel like I was on this journey with other people and that was so inspiring (and you get to see so many people's styles!!)

My advice would be time yourself!!!! And also don't iterate forever, just pick a direction. I have 9235290357 ideas at once and I can never shut my brain off so learning to just decide and continue in one direction is vital, Puno talks about this a lot!
