First of all, this design course is SUPER fun and interactive - it's by far one of the best I've taken. For reference, I'm a COMPLETE beginner when it comes to web design and even I've managed to pick up the basics within a few hours so don't let your lack of knowledge or skillset stop you from signing up. It's well worth it and Puno is so knowledgeable at what she does. She'll be there (virtually by video) to take you by the hand and guide you through the levels until you feel confident enough to spread your freelancer wings.
Read MoreTruly, this course was so great. One of the hardest things with making this a full time gig and not just one of my many side hustles was actually prioritizing working on my site, my pricing, my process.
Following-through with the course, all of the freelancing tools, and support of the community has been everything in terms of getting over imposter syndrome and making a business that’s sustainable — not just a constant scramble of taking whomever as clients.
Read MoreThis course definitely challenged me. With this course being more hands on rather than just a deck with a bunch of information, I grasped the information better than a Skillshare class. I loved the use of video and all the additional resources within the course. While there were times where I did get frustrated, those moments really helped me troubleshoot and problem solve.
Overall, I loved the course! It’s fun, engaging, and jam-packed with a ton of information! I never thought I would understand CSS, but Puno made it easy to learn and digest!
Read MoreThe gamification of the course (and Puno, tbh ) simply make it unstoppable and incomparable. It's not theoretical, it makes you jump right to it. It's not in bits and pieces, it's complete. It made me stop to drink water (like what, is this what heaven feels like? water addict here, yes really). Plus, the community is great (I found my business bff here!).
I stand by what I said that this is definitely one of the best (if not THE best) online courses I've taken so far.

Read MoreInitially when looking at this course. I thought ooh it would be soo cool to be able to learn how to make a website for my photography. At the time I was looking into becoming a wedding photographer but was unsure if I wanted to take that route. The pandemic happened and since we were all stuck at home and I wanted to learn a new skill. I took the plunge and honestly, after finishing this course, I can say it was worth it. I really learned a lot about my own learning process and what is potentially stopping me.
If for some reason you stop and don't feel like you can do it, the support system has been built with groups that help you stay accountable. The TA's and classmates are always there to support you. Seeing those other classmates finish the course is very motivating.
The resources that are available in terms of the extra content are included with the Q&A's, code snippet, taco rewards and expansive knowledge from the TA's. It really helps with being an all-around website designer. This is a long learning journey, but it helps to know which direction to look.
I started this course looking to help supplement my photography career but I think I am going to make website design my career and use my photography to supplement it.
Looking forward to seeing what comes next.
This course has been so incredible! I think the value is incredible and most definitely worth your investment if you want to learn how to design a beautiful Squarespace website and grow a web design business. I learned so much and never expected to get so much feedback and help from Puno and the TAs.
Read MoreThe course was really good! I was pretty nervous starting with 7.0 at the beginning as I'd only worked with 7.1, so it felt weird and really difficult haha. I'm glad I persevered though because I've had more clients wanting updates to the 7.0 sites than I'd even considered, thinking I'd only be doing new sites. The resources are great too! So much good stuff in there.
Read MoreI totally loved the course. I loved Puno’s energy, it’s completely different to actually be entertained while learning! And on top of that, she knows her shit and generous with knowledge! So good. The Slack community is really important — without it I’d be lost! Also, Erin Fitzsimmons is amazing. Thanks again for the all the work you guys have put in, you’ve created something really special.

What the Squarespace Design Course has allowed me to do is break the imposter syndrome of "Oh, but it's a website builder" and realize that I'm actually an expert. So because I'm an expert I'm able to charge $5 - $8k for a website.
Read MoreSince taking the Squarespace Design Course I’ve made about $15k on web designs, but I plan to do waaaaayyyy more now that I have all these skills in my back pocket! I was also able to get my profile up on ilovecreatives, which has meant, on average, an extra 50 people checking out my website every month! And we all know exposure in web designing is as important as location in real estate!
Read MoreI'm predominantly a brand designer who only started offering SS design as an add-on in the fall. It's been a great additional revenue stream because I'm able to book larger packages with new clients and work with old clients a second time. Also, I made my investment in the course back entirely after completing my first project ($1500) within two months of finishing the course.
Read MoreThis course has really blown me away! I have learned so much and not just with Squarespace but full-on life lesson stuff. I'd been wanting to pivot from my career path in digital marketing agency life and felt very alone and unsure of myself. I just worked with my first paid client and this community is a great one to be a part of, regardless of where you are in your design journey.
Read MoreA couple of weeks ago, I signed the biggest project I've gotten to date for $5,000, which is a combination of social media and web design. At this point, l know I have the skills.
