The Creative Process workbook is here to support your creative rhythm without adding pressure. Built from five years of teaching and real conversations with students, it offers structure without rigidity. This isn’t about formulas—it’s about organizing what you already carry: your ideas, your taste, your creative voice. It’s a tool to help you make something honest with just enough shape to keep you moving✦.
You’ll move through four sections of Creative Process, each one designed to mirror the flow of our classes:
➀ Your Aritst Manifesto: This is where you begin to root yourself. Through writing, memory, and world-building, you’ll articulate who you are as an artist—and what your work is really about.
➁ Defining Your Style: What do you love? What moves you? In this section, you’ll start organizing your inspirations and studying the videos, visuals, and language that resonate—so your own taste can lead the way.
➂ Producing Your Idea: Once your direction is clear, this section helps you bring it into form. You’ll explore a flexible four-act structure, build your shoot outline, and develop a personal relationship with being on camera.
➃ Refinging Your Video: From rough cut to final edit, this section offers structure and language to shape your footage and guide your editing process with clarity and intention.
