Within a month of taking the course, I already created 3+ websites which helped me become a better and faster designer. The assignments are very intentional. Puno & the team really encourages you to think outside the box and put on your creative/troubleshooting hat! Also, the community in Discord is always there for you whether you have questions or have a low-key breakdown.

This video course brought me back to the joy of authenticity. Though I went in thinking I would learn about how to make an awesome video (which I did), it was a very personal journey of understanding my story, my values, and what I wanted to bring into this world.

My advice for someone thinking about taking the course is you'll get as much out of the course as you put into it. Don't be afraid to fail, and just create something! The more feedback you get and the more you iterate on your creative process, the stronger of a video creator you will be.

My favorite thing about the course is the community! All the TAs and other students are the most awesome people and everyone has each other’s backs! A truly motivational group of amazing creatives I couldn’t recommend the Graphic Design Course enough! Whether you’re experienced or a beginner, this is suited for everyone.

I took the Creative Copywriters Course to help me get better at copywriting for my new position on the marketing team. I'm still taking it--but I love that it's asynchronous because I'm super busy.

My advice for someone thinking about taking the course is do it--it feels nice to gain skills alongside your day to day workflow.

Love love love the video format, working at your own pace, and help on the community. I'm only on the first section, but I really am excited again about creating websites, for myself and others.

The price tag might seem a bit scary, but once you get your course work and you see all the time and effort, as well as the help you get, it is such a good value.

My favorite thing about this course is PUNO and the funny sounds she make lolol and of course the material is very helpful and fun to learn! So far, I feel more put together and I see myself looking forward to investing time each day to learn, which I didn’t see myself really doing in college.

The Lifestyle Planning Workshop was great! People were super engaged, and Puno shared some really valuable tips to nudge your professional and personal life towards your true calling. More than a rigid roadmap to follow, we were suggested a simple set of questions to keep asking ourselves on a regular basis. Instead of sticking to a rigid plan, Puno suggested building this habit of poking at our day-to-day, so that there is space for iteration and course correction at all times. Good stuff!

I’ve landed multiple contracted jobs – creative, marketing, design. I’ve been using the job board since 2019 when Puno launched her Squarespace Design Course! That’s actually what put my foot into the door with most of the employers. Anytime anyone asks me where to look for jobs, I ALWAYS recommend the ilc job board. Like no joke! Such a helpful tool for creatives.

This class was really the wake-up that I needed to fully feel confident in my writing skills. Going into the class you don't fully have an understanding of what could come out of it, but I never knew I would come out of it with such a sense of clarity + independence. I truly enjoyed everything I learned through Tasha's lens, she's truly 1/1! I would recommend this course for anyone looking to test their writing skills again and just imagine.

Taking the VCC course was one of the best decisions I've made this year. If you are someone who feels the thirst to create, if you've ever felt the urge to express yourself through art, and if you've ever felt SO inspired with that one amazing video of your favorite YouTuber and never knew what to do about the burst of ideas, you are exactly at the right place.

I was unable to establish any sort of friendships in a very lonely period (postpartum!!!) of my life, so this course was literally a life buoy thrown at me when I needed it most. The weekly calls gave me a structure to DEMAND time for and from myself. Verbally riffing off ideas with other people gave me such a creative high that would carry through the week.

I loved the community when I started the course; so loving and supportive. But if we're talking SDC content, I got so much satisfaction from accomplishing my 3.2 and 3.3 websites, as that's the point when I got to make informed decisions based on the knowledge from the first two chapters of the course. This is not my first time trying to make websites in Squarespace but it's my first time not giving up because I actually knew what I was doing throughout. I'm truly impressed by this course, the community, and the ever-growing resources section. Thank you!

The thing I've enjoyed the most is the amount of resources/helpful sites that give me inspiration + the collaborative nature of this course — classmates encouraging and supporting each other! My favorite thing about the course is how readily available the teachers and staff are to lend a hand or assist with the design process, especially when it comes to specific software questions!

I've really enjoyed watching and learning hands-on how to use the foundational graphic design software and tools. I really had no idea where to start and felt overwhelmed, but the course has made it so easy and fun, and has given me the confidence to go off and expand on my skills. My favourite thing about the experience would have to be creating spec work and having feedback from Mindy and Sarah. Being able to implement everything I've learned in the course to create a 'real-life' brand identity has been so fun and the supportive feedback from Mindy and Sarah has been amazing. Having this spec work to add to a portfolio that I can show potential clients is so valuable.

I love that ilovecreatives’ courses are so fun yet so packed full of the all best info and resources!! The CCC is at least what I expected it to be and more. I'm still working my way through it, but I am really loving the workbook and worksheets. I also like that each lesson is short and focused on a small task to complete. You really get to see how each lesson builds onto the previous one and it helps keep the momentum going to complete the course.

I absolutely love having access to the Discord channel! It makes it so easy, fun, and interactive as I progress through the course. I also love the resources and the fact that I have access to everything online as I need it. I am motivated to take more courses with ilovecreatives after I finish my current one 🙂

The course levels break down the learning process into manageable chunks, and the support from the ilovereatives team and other course members on the Discord channel is worth its weight in gold. Having someone be able to take a look at your work and offer advice or solutions when you're creatively stuck or just can't figure out the code was great. This isn't some static, work-on-your-own kind of course, it's a whole community of creatives.

I got into graphic design by chance at my work and I recently had an epiphany that I would like to do it full-time. I wanted to take the course to learn from other designers and their processes and also how to go freelance. I've been really enjoying the lessons and resources we get with the course. I think my favourite thing is being able to context with people but also those who are running the course. The TAs are so cool, kind, and super supportive that makes the experience more enjoyable and less intimidating to an introvert like me.
